Upgrade from Lite

Upgrading takes about a minute and does not break existing saves.

1. Download Phone Full

Download Phone Full from itch.io.

2. Replace the plugin folder

Replace the pamyu/phone/ folder in your game/ directory with the Full version.

    phone/       ← replace with the Full folder

Keep the core/ folder. Only phone/ changes.

3. Restart Ren'Py

Open your project in Ren'Py. The Full features are now available.

What changes

Your script does not need to change. Calls to phone.notify() and phone.photo() that had no effect in Lite will now work. All existing messages, contacts, and saves are preserved.

Full-only features

phone.notify(character) — small notification bubble when a message arrives
phone.photo(character, path) — photo messages in a conversation
theme option — ready-made colour themes (sorbet, nightlight, casebook)
notify config option — toggle notification bubbles globally
