Install a plugin

Every Pamyu plugin follows the same three-step install. Do this once per plugin.

1. Download

Get the plugin from itch.io. The zip contains a pamyu/ folder.

2. Copy the files

Unzip the download and copy the pamyu/ folder into your game/ folder. If you already have Pamyu installed, only copy the new plugin subfolder — keep your existing core/ folder.

3. Launch Ren'Py

Open your project in Ren'Py and run it. If there are no errors in the console, the plugin is ready. Follow the plugin's own setup page to start using it in your script.

Updating a plugin

To update, download the new version from itch.io and replace the plugin subfolder. Do not replace core/ unless the release notes say to.
